In Friday's league game, the visiting University Liggett Knights baseball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots.
The Knights (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors go into the Catholic Central game with a 17-1 record. In their last game, Brother Rice tipped St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH), 19-3, in a non-league game.
The Pilots (8-8) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Eaglets go into the Catholic Central game with a 7-6 record.
