In Friday's league game, the visiting East Henderson Eagles baseball team scored a tight 10-6 victory over the Smoky Mountain Mustangs.
The Eagles (5-15) will now prepare for their game against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats go into the non-league game with a 6-15 record. In their last game, Hendersonville tipped Patton (Morganton, NC), 6-5, in a league game.
The Mustangs (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, Erwin was overwhelmed by North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC), 5-3, in a league game.
