The Eastmont Wildcats baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting West Valley Rams to 7 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats (12-6) will now prepare for their match against Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA). The Grizzlies go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Sunnyside edged Eisenhower (Yakima, WA), 15-4, in a league match.
The Rams (11-7) will now prepare for their match against Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA). The Mavericks go into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Moses Lake edged Wenatchee (Wenatchee, WA), 3-2, in a league match.
