The PikeView Panthers baseball team (Princeton, WV), was overwhelmed 11-3 in Friday's league outing with the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV)
The Grizzlies now hold a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenbrier West for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 30. Nicholas County will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 12-3 non-league win over Midland Trail (Hico, WV). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-9.
Next, the Panthers confront the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) in a Coalfield AA outing, on Saturday, April 27. PikeView will attempt to advance on its 17-8 season record. The Renegades go into the outing with a 10-5 record after their 20-9 non-league loss to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV).
