North Carolina High School Baseball - South Lenoir gets by North Lenoir

April 26, 2024: Deep Run, NC 28525

Spectators at Friday's league battle between the South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) and the visiting North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC), saw South Lenoir's baseball squad knock off North Lenoir by a count of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a East Central 2A battle, on Tuesday, April 30. South Lenoir will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 10-9 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC).

The Hawks now possess a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they host James Kenan for a East Central 2A battle on Tuesday, April 30. North Lenoir will play a Tigers squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Kinston (Kinston, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 4-13.
