Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Western Wayne loses to Old Forge

April 26, 2024: Lake Ariel, PA 18436

The Western Wayne Wildcats baseball team (Lake Ariel, PA), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA)

The Blue Devils now hold a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Cross for a Lackawanna 2 outing on Monday, April 29. Old Forge will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 11-7 non-league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-10.

Next, the Wildcats confront the Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) in a non-league outing, on Sunday, April 28. Western Wayne will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 10-3 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA).
