Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Sandia Prep upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Sundevils host East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM) to battle the Timberwolves in a 3A District 4/5 test on Tuesday, April 30. The Timberwolves come into the test with a record of 15-7. East Mountain won 21-20 in their recent league test against New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM)

With the defeat, Ruidoso falls to 12-7 on the season. The Warriors host Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Sundevils in a 3A District 4/5 test on Thursday, May 2. The Sundevils come into the test with a record of 10-12.
