The East Greenwich Avengers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Coventry Oakers to 1 in the Avengers non-league victory on Friday.

The Avengers now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Kingstown for a non-league game on Monday, April 29.

The Oakers (4-4) will now prepare for their game against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, North Kingstown nipped Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 2-0, in a non-league game.
