In Friday's league battle, the visiting Los Gatos Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Fremont Firebirds.

The Wildcats (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Eagles come into the battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Los Altos tipped Saratoga (Saratoga, CA), 2-0, in a league match.

With the loss, Fremont drops to 17-11 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to battle the Chargers in a match on Monday, April 29. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 10-7. Wilcox lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA)
