In Friday's league battle, the visiting Homestead Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Mountain View Spartans.

The Mustangs (15-16) will now prepare for their battle against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors come into the SCVAL - De Anza battle with a 15-12 record. In their last battle, Monta Vista achieved victory over Cupertino (Cupertino, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA) in a SCVAL - De Anza battle, on Wednesday, May 1. Mountain View will attempt to advance on its 5-24 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 15-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to Harker (San Jose, CA).
