The crowd at Friday's league test between the Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) and the visiting North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC), saw Topsail's soccer squad triumph over North Brunswick by a margin of 8-0.

The Pirates now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they host South Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 30. Topsail will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, North Brunswick drops to 5-13 on the season. The Scorpions host New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 30. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-9. New Hanover 1-1 in their recent league test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
