The Avon Lake Shoremen softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Vermilion Sailors to 8 in the Shoremen non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Avon Lake improves its record to 6-6 on the year. The Shoremen host Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a game on Monday, April 29. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-2.
