Kingsburg Vikings (Kingsburg, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sierra Pacific Golden Bears (Hanford, CA), 16-4 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Caruthers for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Kingsburg will battle a Blue Raiders squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Sierra Pacific falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Golden bears host Reedley (Reedley, CA) to battle the Pirates in a challenge on Friday, May 3. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 20-3.
