Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Hills for a challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Steele Canyon will face a Eagles squad coming off a 6-6 league Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, West Hills falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Wolf pack travel to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 11-7.
