The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) and the host Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS (Cincinnati, OH), saw Franklin's lacrosse team nudge Madeira by a margin of 12-11.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Edgewood (Trenton, OH). The Cougars enter the Region 8 challenge with a 8-4 record.
The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Covington Catholic was tipped by La Salle (Cincinnati, OH), 13-7, in a non-league challenge.
