In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Maine-Endwell Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-9 victory over the Union-Endicott Tigers.

The Spartans now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horseheads for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 30. Maine-Endwell will play a Blue Raiders team coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Ithaca (Ithaca, NY). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 7-1.

The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Binghamton (Binghamton, NY). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Binghamton was overwhelmed by Elmira (Elmira, NY), 14-2, in a non-league match.
