The Appomattox County Raiders soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Altavista Colonels to 1 in the Raiders league victory on Friday.

Next, the Raiders face the Chatham Cavaliers (Chatham, VA) in a Dogwood contest, on Wednesday, May 1. Appomattox County will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record.

The Colonels now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host Dan River for a Eastern Shore contest on Wednesday, May 1. Altavista will face a Wildcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Galileo (Danville, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
