In Friday's league battle, the host Hunter Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cyprus Pirates.
The Wolverines (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Granger (West Valley City, UT). The Lancers come into the 5A Region 4 battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Granger was nudged by West Jordan (West Jordan, UT), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Pirates (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Kearns (Kearns, UT). The Cougars come into the 5A Region 4 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Kearns nudged Taylorsville (Taylorsville, UT), 3-2, in a league battle.
