With the triumph, Benjamin Russell moves its record to 12-17 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Friday, April 26. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 42-4. Wetumpka won 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL)

In their next game, the Poets play the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles (Tuskegee, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 30. Lanier will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 23-3 non-league loss to LAMP (Montgomery, AL).
