Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Berea Pirates (Berea, KY), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mountain Lions now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Corbin for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Pineville will battle a Redhounds squad coming off a 11-7 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 8-9.

With the loss, Berea falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-10. Lexington Christian lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Hickman County (Clinton, KY)
