Blackduck Drakes (Blackduck, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Red Lake Warriors (Red Lake, MN), 20-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Drakes now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deer River for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Blackduck will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin (Coleraine, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Red Lake falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Laporte (Laporte, MN) to battle the Wildcats in a Upper Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, April 30. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Laporte lost 8-3 in their recent league challenge against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN)
