In Friday's non-league contest, the Genesee Bulldogs (Genesee, ID) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Colton Wildcats (Colton, WA), by a margin of 7-1.

With the triumph, Genesee moves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Kendrick (Kendrick, ID) to play the Tigers in a 1A White Pine contest on Monday, April 29. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 8-3.

In their next game, the Wildcats play the Garfield-Palouse Vikings (Palouse, WA) in a 1B Southeast - East contest, on Saturday, April 27. Colton will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Rosalia (Rosalia, WA).
