The Danbury Lakers softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Lakota Raiders to 7 in the Lakers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Danbury improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Lakers travel to New Riegel (New Riegel, OH) to clash with the Blue Jackets in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Monday, April 29. The Blue Jackets come into the game with a record of 17-1. New Riegel won 4-0 in their recent non-league game against Woodmore (Elmore, OH)
