DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Richard Wright Public Charter School Spartans (Washington, DC), 12-4 in a league challenge.
The Dragons now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Don Bosco Cristo Rey for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29.
With the loss, Richard Wright Public Charter School falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Idea (Washington, DC) to battle the Timberwolves in a DCPCSAA challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Idea lost 8-6 in their recent league challenge against KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC)
