Pennsylvania High School Softball - Faith Christian Academy holds off Delaware County Christian

The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Faith Christian Academy Lions (Sellersville, PA) and the host Delaware County Christian Knights (Newtown Square, PA), saw Faith Christian Academy's softball squad nip Delaware County Christian by a count of 21-19.

The Lions now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bristol for a non-league match on Monday, April 29. Faith Christian Academy will face a Warriors squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Gwynedd Mercy Academy (Gwynedd Valley, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-0.

With the loss, Delaware County Christian falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Morrisville (Morrisville, PA) to face the Bulldogs in a Bicentennial - Independence match on Monday, April 29. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-9.
