North Carolina High School Softball - East Wake Academy Franklin Academy

The East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC) softball the visiting Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC), 8-5 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their bout against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns go into the Super Six 1A/2A bout with a 0-10 record. In their last bout, NCSSM: Durham was routed by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 19-1, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Franklin Academy falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC) to face the Saints in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. St. Mary's won 24-11 in their recent league challenge against Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC)
