California High School Softball - Hilmar bounces Escalon

Hilmar Yellowjackets (Hilmar, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA), 11-4 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now own a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they host Ripon for a Trans Valley League challenge on Wednesday, May 1. Hilmar will face a Indians squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Livingston (Livingston, CA). The Indians record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Escalon falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hughson (Hughson, CA) to face the Huskies in a Trans Valley League challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 8-10.
