Franklinville Panthers (Franklinville, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Valley Central Wildcats (West Valley, NY), 20-1 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league game on Saturday, April 27.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Ellicottville Eagles (Ellicottville, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus II East game, on Tuesday, April 30. West Valley Central will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 2-2 record after their 14-6 league win over Cattaraugus-Little Valley (Cattaraugus, NY).
