Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Wyoming Area Warriors (Exeter, PA) and the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), witnessed Wyoming Area's softball squad tip Greater Nanticoke Area by a count of 6-2.

The Warriors now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pittston for a non-league match on Saturday, April 27. Wyoming Area will face a Patriots squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Greater Nanticoke Area moves to 1-7 on the season. The Trojans travel to Berwick (Berwick, PA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 30. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 9-5. Berwick won 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA)
