The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) and the host Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS), saw Petal's softball squad nip Gulfport by a count of 11-7.

The Panthers now sport a 19-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gulfport for a non-league match on Friday, April 26. Petal will face a Admirals squad coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Gulfport falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Admirals travel to Petal (Petal, MS) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, April 26. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 17-9. Petal lost 7-2 in their recent non-league match against Germantown (Madison, MS)
