Virginia High School Softball - Herndon can't hold off Wakefield School

The Wakefield School Fighting Owls softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Herndon Hornets to 3 in the Fighting Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Wakefield School improves its record to 2-4 on the year.
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 29. Herndon will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Ram come into the game with a 14-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Independence (Ashburn, VA).
