In Friday's non-league contest, the Maple Shade Wildcats (Maple Shade, NJ) softball team overwhelmed the host Holy Cross Lancers (Delran, NJ), by a margin of 18-10.

With the triumph, Maple Shade moves its record to 7-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Burlington City (Burlington, NJ) to play the Blue Devils in a BCSL - Freedom contest on Monday, April 29. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 3-3. Burlington City lost 8-4 in their recent league contest against Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ)

In their next game, the Lancers play the Haddon Township Hawks (Westmont, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 27. Holy Cross will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Gloucester City (Gloucester City, NJ).
