Pennsylvania High School Softball - Riverside can't get by Holy Cross

In Friday's league contest, the Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) softball team held off the visiting Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA), by a margin of 3-2.

With the triumph, Holy Cross moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to play the Royals in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 27. The Royals come into the contest with a record of 5-1.

In their next game, the Vikings play the West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 27. Riverside will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
