The Valley Vikings softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Hope Christian Huskies to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Valley improves its record to 16-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Knights in a 4A District 6 game on Tuesday, April 30. The Knights come into the game with a record of 6-16. Del Norte lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 27. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Sartans come into the game with a 15-5 record after their 13-2 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
