California High School Softball - Hughson nudges Riverbank

April 26, 2024: Hughson, CA 95326

Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 8-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buhach Colony for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Hughson will face a Thunder squad coming off a 12-4 league loss to Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Riverbank falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Livingston (Livingston, CA) to face the Wolves in a Trans Valley League challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 9-11. Livingston lost 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Ripon (Ripon, CA)
