The Tuloso-Midway Warriors & Cherokees (Corpus Christi, TX) softball routed the host La Feria Lions (La Feria, TX), 12-1 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors & Cherokees (24-8) will now prepare for their bout against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 23-7 record. In their last bout, Floresville toppled Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX), 5-3, in a non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 18-7 record.
