Pavilion Golden Gophers (Pavilion, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lima Christian Saints (Lima, NY), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Gophers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host York for a Livingston County Div III challenge on Monday, April 29. Pavilion will face a Golden Knights squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Lima Christian falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Geneseo (Geneseo, NY) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Geneseo lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Warsaw (Warsaw, NY)
