South Carolina High School Softball - May River bounces Lucy Beckham

April 26, 2024: Bluffton, SC 2991

May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

The Sharks now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host North Myrtle Beach for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. May River will battle a Chiefs squad coming off a 24-0 non-league win over John Jay (Cross River, NY). The Chiefs record now stands at 13-11.

With the loss, Lucy Beckham falls to 9-8 on the campaign.
