New York High School Softball - Pelham Memorial bounces Rye

The Pelham Memorial Pelicans routed the visiting Rye Garnets softball squad by a final score of 13-5 in Friday's league battle.

The Pelicans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Ardsley (Ardsley, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 1 II - D battle with a 9-3 record.

The Garnets now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Nanuet for a non-league battle on Monday, April 29. Rye will meet a Golden Knights squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 0-2.
