Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Minutemen now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penobscot Valley for a Class D North challenge on Wednesday, May 1.

With the loss, Schenck falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to battle the Howlers in a Class D North challenge on Monday, April 29. The Howlers enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
