Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Buckhorns now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delaware Valley for a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Monday, April 29. Wallenpaupack Area will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 7-4 non-league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Scranton falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Valley View (Archbald, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Monday, April 29. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 11-1. Valley View won 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)
