The Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) softball routed the visiting South Decatur Cougars (Greensburg, IN), 16-6 in Friday's league bout.

The Mohawks (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Oldenburg Academy (Oldenburg, IN). The Twisters go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Oldenburg Academy was routed by Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN), 22-21, in a non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Greensburg for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. South Decatur will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 11-3.
