North Carolina High School Softball - Vance County bounces Southern Durham

April 26, 2024: Durham, NC 27703

The Vance County Vipers (Henderson, NC) softball routed the host Southern Durham Spartans (Durham, NC), 15-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Vipers (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC). The Bulldogs go into the Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A bout with a 0-14 record. In their last bout, Durham School of the Arts was routed by Carrboro (Carrboro, NC), 18-0, in a league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Jordan for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. Southern Durham will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 11-5.
