Colorado High School Baseball - Centauri holds off Pagosa Springs

April 26, 2025: Pagosa Springs, CO 81147

The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO) and the host Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO), saw Centauri's baseball team gain a win over Pagosa Springs by a tally of 8-4.

The Falcons (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Mean Moose enter the 3A Intermountain battle with a 9-9 record. In their last battle, Alamosa was overwhelmed by Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO), 14-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a 3A Intermountain battle, on Saturday, May 3. Pagosa Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 4-10 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to San Juan (Blanding, UT).
