New York High School Baseball - Grand Island holds off Lewiston-Porter

The Grand Island Vikings baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Lewiston-Porter Lancers to 8 in the Vikings league win on Saturday.
The Vikings now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kenmore East for a NFL test on Wednesday, April 30. Grand Island will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Lockport (Lockport, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Lewiston-Porter drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lancers host North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY) to play the Lumberjacks in a NFL test on Monday, April 28. The Lumberjacks go into the test with a record of 1-2. North Tonawanda lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Lockport (Lockport, NY)
