The Northport Mustangs (Northport, WA) baseball trounced the visiting Republic Tigers (Republic, WA), 11-1 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kettle Falls for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30.
With the defeat, Republic drops to 1-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Curlew (Curlew, WA) to clash with the Cougars in a 1B Northeast challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Curlew won 18-7 in their recent league challenge against Selkirk (Ione, WA)
