Maryland High School Baseball - Walter Johnson edges Northwest

April 26, 2025: Germantown, MD 20874

The Walter Johnson Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Northwest Jaguars to 10 in the Wildcats league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gaithersburg for a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Thursday, May 1. Walter Johnson will play a Trojans team coming off a 9-6 league loss to Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Northwest drops to 2-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Magruder (Rockville, MD) to play the Colonels in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 9-5.
