The Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID) baseball trounced the host Priest River Spartans (Priest River, ID), 12-1 in Saturday's league challenge.

The Maniacs now own a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Maries for a 3A Central Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Orofino will clash with a Lumberjacks team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Grangeville (Grangeville, ID). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 3-16.

With the defeat, Priest River drops to 4-12 on the year.
