The Mount Vernon Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Sedro-Woolley Cubs to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Jackson (Mill Creek, WA). The Timberwolves enter the non-league battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Jackson defeated Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA), 16-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cubs face the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 30. Sedro-Woolley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Meridian (Bellingham, WA).
