The Saint Francis Lancers baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Petaluma Trojans to 1 in the Lancers non-league win on Saturday.
The Lancers now hold a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for a test on Tuesday, April 29. Saint Francis will play a Fightin' Irish team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 11-7.
With the defeat, Petaluma drops to 7-10 on the year. The Trojans travel to American Canyon (American Canyon, CA) to play the Wolves in a test on Tuesday, April 29. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 7-11. American Canyon lost 9-5 in their recent league test against Sonoma Valley (Sonoma, CA)
